Nearly is a full service podcasting company bringing the necessary elements of storytelling, technology, artwork and social media together for organisations. We handle each of the many elements in producing a podcast that will be available to global audiences.
We also fund and produce shows for our ad-supported podcast network.
“Nearly” describes the most exciting place to be on a business journey. It’s at one with the reach of success, a realisation of hard work and the tipping point for new opportunities.
We bring a journalistic ear to any content we produce, siding with the audience first knowing they will drive the impact of a podcast we create.
“Audio is one of the most intimate forms of media because you are constantly building your own images of the story in your mind and you’re creating your own production… And that of course, is something that you can never get with visual media.”
Emma Rodero, a communications professor, Pompeu Fabra University Barcelona.
Emma studies how audio productions retain people’s attention.
I’ve worked in radio and digital content my entire career, starting at SYN in Melbourne before moving to Ballarat to produce, report and present at ABC radio.
Since then I’ve worked on some of the ABC’s best rating programs as a producer and digital content specialist, completed a documentary for ABC RN and advised the PNG National Broadcasting Corporation on organisation-wide social media strategy.
I have worked with the iconic radio program, the Coodabeen Champions, for over a decade as a producer, contributor and manager.
Along with this, I have worked with every program on ABC Radio from Jon Faine to Australia All Over in some capacity and hosted my own Sunday morning programs on ABC Radio Melbourne. My relationship with the ABC goes all the way back to winning the Heywire program for Western Victoria in 2000.
I am a published journalist with a variety of media outlets: The Age, AFL.com.au and Vice Sports among others.
