Nearly Media is a podcast network and a full service podcast production company.

We handle each of the many elements in producing podcasts available to global audiences.

“Nearly” describes the most exciting place to be on a journey.

It’s at one with the reach of success, a realisation of hard work and the tipping point for new opportunities.

We bring years of journalism and storytelling experience to every podcast we produce, knowing that audience-first production is paramount.

The last line of an article we often like to think of…

“Audio is one of the most intimate forms of media because you are constantly building your own images of the story in your mind and you’re creating your own production… And that of course, is something that you can never get with visual media.”

This is us

We’re storytellers that love the medium, the opportunities podcasts present and the flexibility for creativity.

We’ve worked in radio, journalism, digital content and social media. It’s time they were all working together properly.

Our focus on podcasts reflects the growth of the medium, our experience in radio and the diverse opportunities for storytelling with fewer restraints.

Courtney Carthy, Executive Producer

I’ve worked in radio and digital content for over a decade, starting at SYN in Melbourne then at the ABC.

Since then I’ve worked on some of the ABC’s best rating programs, completed a documentary for ABC RN and advised the PNG National Broadcasting Corporation on organisation-wide social media strategy.

I also founded and lead Inflatable Regatta for fun with some friends. It’s a lot of work these days.
